Chemique and SUDEX are at present concentrating on servicing applications in the region’s fast growing construction industry. These include fire doors for hotel and office buildings, architectural panels and flooring products. In many of these applications, adhesives from the Chemique Solfre range offer an effective, efficient and economical solution.

Solfre1 is a single-component solvent-free polyurethane adhesive suitable for a range of building industry applications. Its unique formulation provides superior resistance to chemicals, heat, humidity and thermal shock, making it ideally suited for construction, composite panels, truck building, caravan panels and many other uses where a structural permanent bond is required.

Solfre2 is a two-component, solvent-free polyurethane adhesive that offers a unique alternative to epoxies, one part polyurethanes, solvent-based adhesives and hot melts. Also available is Solfre2 Honeycomb, an extension of the Solfre2 range which is optimised for the manufacture of honeycomb panels and composite products.

“Since we partnered with SUDEX we have experienced almost exponential growth in the Middle East and we are extremely pleased with our growing market penetration,” enthused Clive Robson, International Sales Manager at Chemique Adhesives. “We are gaining more and more insights into the needs of the construction market in the region and we are investing time and effort to ensure that we meet local regulatory and legal requirements. I believe that our success is the result of listening to our customers and providing an exceptional level of support for our products.”

“We always have someone on hand to offer advice and support, to provide dependable maintenance and service and, where appropriate, to devise automated solutions,” he continued. “And, in this region, a solution that’s proving particularly popular is our rake system for adhesive application, which transforms manual adhesive application into a much more efficient semi-automated process. We are continuing to invest in this very important market, and we’re committed to continuing to deliver the best adhesives available in the Middle East!”
