Distributor training goes from strength to strength at Chemique Adhesives
Chemique Adhesives recently held a three-day training event with RS-linija, a partner and leading distributor located in Lithuania. RS-linija offers to its Baltic market PVC raw materials, packaging and adhesive solutions for a variety of applications. The event, which took place at the beginning of March, is the second in a series of international educational programmes aimed at helping Chemique Adhesives distributors gain a better understanding of the technology behind its innovative product range.
The representatives from RS-linija took part in a series of presentations held by Chemiques Technical Manager, John Bellerby and his team of four chemists. Practical demonstrations held in the test lab were also part of the training sessions.
The attendees were taught about products used in the manufacture of office screens, furniture assembly, foam fabrication, as well as panel lamination. Another key area of discussion was Chemiques engineering services and included various demonstrations of adhesive application systems, as well as practical advice relating to equipment maintenance and improving the production process.
We have been working with RS-linija for a number of years now and as our technical department have recently relocated to a new unit, we now have the facilities and resources available to conduct the training, allowing visitors to learn more about our product range and the testing involved, explains Clive Robson International Sales Manager. Offering them the right tools and knowledge also provides confidence and reassurance in our product and as well as this, it was a great way of bonding if youll pardon the pun.
Thanks to the positive feedback and success of the event, Chemique Adhesives hopes that such training sessions will become a permanent feature, with more planned during the year.
